Responsibilities: 1. Clinical Competence in Patient Care
1.1 Is able to assist staff in all clinical areas.
1.2 Performs and documents a comprehensive assessment of patient needs incorporating physical cultural and spiritual domains.
1.3 Provides individualized goal directed care to patients with consideration of the aging processes of populations served. 1.4 Collaborates with other members of the patient care team to evaluate patient outcomes and determine alternatives as needed. 1.5 Has a knowledge and ability to utilize all computer applications required.
2. Safely Administers Medications and IV Therapies
2.1 Adheres to the 5 R?s of medication administrations and has knowledge of medications administered.
2.2 Follows correct procedure for administration/documentation and waste of controlled substances.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BS/BSN required.
Minimum 5 years experience in acute care setting. Previous experience in leadership/managerial role.
Current license RN ? state of RI ACLS/PALS
