provides diagnostic assessments and consultations for individuals seeking substance use disorder services. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering group based treatment and appropriate aftercare referrals.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide Diagnostic assessments to determine each patients individual needs. 2. Provides the appropriate level of therapeutic intervention. 3. Completes all necessary documentation within required time frames. 4. Demonstrates commitment to personal career growth and development. 5. Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the Addiction Recovery Center. 6. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care. 7. Other duties as assigned.
Masters degree in Social Work.
Case Management and Substance abuse treatment preferred.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
When indicated, specialized experience or training may be necessary.
Maintain assigned patients and provide safe and appropriate patient care. Abide by the National Association of Social Workers code of ethics.
Work with Psychiatrist to develop, maintain, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
May be exposed to infectious diseases. High to moderate stress. Need to work harmoniously with different people.
