Responsible for mammographic examinations using diagnostic radiographic of equipment. Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients. Contributes to the efficient operation of the Department, ensuring the quality and continuity patient care.
Graduate from a AMA approved school of Radiology Technology Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in(R)adiography and (M)ammography.
Minimum Work Experience
Must perform 200 mammograms over a 24-month period.
One year general radiography experience preferred.
One year of current mammography experience preferred.
ARRT registered in radiology mammography and current state license required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Maintains required 5 annual CEUs in Mammography as required by MQSA.
Knowledgeable in mammography positioning.
Knowledgeable of radiographic equipment and radiation safety.
Open accurate and responsive communication, oral or written on an individual basis.
Ability to handle multiple task/projects and meet deadlines.
Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct.
