Summary:
Design and implement evaluation methodologies for LMH and WH community health programs, support the activities of the community health needs assessments and community health improvement plans, leverage existing sources of data to develop return on investment analyses and community health impact stories, and maximize gathering and reporting of community benefit data.

Responsibilities:

\u2022 Develop an understanding of and facility with available data sources to support measurement of community health initiatives
\u2022 Design and implement evaluation methodologies for community health programs at L+M and Westerly Hospitals
\u2022 Participate in the planning and implementation of the community health needs assessments at both hospitals and collaborate with consultants and community partners on analyses of data collected through the assessments.
\u2022 Participate in the development and implementation of the community health improvement plans at both hospitals and collaborate with community partners on evaluation design for identified strategies.
\u2022 Contribute to the development of proposals for grant funding
\u2022 Develop return on investment analyses and community health impact stories for community health interventions
\u2022 Participate in the process to collect and report community benefit data for L+M and Westerly Hospitals
\u2022 Contribute to the writing and submission of journal articles/manuscripts for publication as appropriate.
\u2022 Participation in regional and statewide workgroups as appropriate.
\u2022 Meets performance expectations for Customer Service, Teamwork, Resource Utilization, and Staff and Self Development as outlined in performance review.
\u2022 Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.

Other information:
Education: Master\u2019s degree in public health, epidemiology, or statistics
Experience: Preferred: knowledge of and experience with relational databases, Epic, spreadsheet software, GIS, and statistical analysis software as well as experience in questionnaire design.
