Responsible for identifying, screening via telephone interviewing and assessing candidates for requisitions or job groups across the department/functional/service line areas. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is also responsible for creating and providing candidate slates to the Talent Acquisition Partner that fit the needs of the requisitions. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
\u2022 Responsible for development and maintenance of a pipeline of prequalified candidates for improved time to fill and efficiency of the recruitment process
\u2022 Collaborate and partner with internal Talent Acquisition team; act as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition Partner
\u2022 Assist Talent Acquisition with developing short-term and long-term staffing goals
\u2022 Work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues to meet Service Level Agreement guidelines and expectations agreed to with stakeholders
\u2022 Assist in assessing, screening and vetting prospective candidates against outlined position criteria
\u2022 Must have ability to demonstrate a high degree of independence and confidentiality
\u2022 Schedules interviews with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Partner
\u2022 Develop a tracker (passport) in which a candidate profile is created to assist in career development and retention program
\u2022 Must meet staffing objectives in fast-paced, change-oriented environment
\u2022 Maintain continuous flow of communication with all partners to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
\u2022 Execute on-campus initiatives (career fairs, networking events, student presentations)
\u2022 Screen resumes and interview candidates via telephone. Manage external recruitment process
\u2022 Assure proper and compliant documentation of candidate tracking activity including updating ATS/databases
\u2022 Projects and other duties as assigned
Helps with the coordination of orientation programs for new employees.
Receives all new requisitions and coordinates job positions.
Meets performance expectations for Customer Service, Teamwork, Resource Utilization, and Staff and Self Development as outlined in performance review.
Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of full life cycle recruitment experience highly preferred
