The Registered Nurse practices within the Patient and Family Centered Care Model will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients, coordinate ancillary staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team.
We have an immediate need for Registered Nurses to administer Flu Vaccines during Employee Flu Fair clinics across the health system. This is a casual, non-benefited position but will require 40 hours/week during orientation and potentially through busy Flu Fair season between September and December.
Location: Greenwich, Bridgeport, New Haven area with desire to travel to all locations.
Primary responsibilities will be as follows:
EDUCATION: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
EXPERIENCE: General skill and knowledge of IM Injections
SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent communications, interpersonal, coordinative, and organizational skills.
ACCOUNTABILITY (how this position is held accountable for such as goals achievement, budget adherence, or other areas of accountability): Provides nursing care to an individual or group of patients; recognizes changes in patient conditions and reports such changes to Physician and/or Patient Services/designee., Utilizes and manages material resources in a cost effective manner.
