Under the general supervision of the Director, Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing, provide system coordination and analysis
for programmatic activities within Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing department and human resources; incumbent will report
through the Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing as well for projects. The position will
lead sourcing efforts and implementation of software programs across the Employee Safety and Wellbeing continuum. This position
assists in improving employee safety, wellbeing and experience by using operational, clinical, and financial and other data to
understand better the processes and outcomes associated with activity of Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Human
Resources. Functions include implementation and strategic guidance of online reporting systems, dashboard creation and
maintenance, predictive modeling and analysis and monthly reporting for committees and regulatory agencies including, but not
limited to OSHA, the Joint Commission and the Department of Public Health. This position requires a strong database background,
and proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Must have excellent organizational, analytical and customer
• 1. Responsible for data analytics of Employee Safety Data
1.1. Provides support to the EHS Management Team for analysis and operational implementation of projects conceived in or
assigned to EHS
1.2. Develop a working knowledge of the handling and maintenance of all applications used by EHS (e.g. Employee SelfService, Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio) used in analytical work to support and assist the Management Team in using clinical,
operational and financial data for management and clinical decision-making.
1.3. Perform routine quality assurance processes and audits of the ESS database to ensure appropriate information is entered
for quality outcomes and HIPAA compliance.
• 1.4. Assist with end-user support of the ESS application across all delivery networks.
1.5. Participates in educational activities that assist colleagues in their understanding and use of ESS and other applications
used by EHS, and serves as a resource by providing expert knowledge in these applications
1.6. Creates and disseminates regulatory reporting of OSHA, Joint Commission and DPH reporting to all DN EHS Specialists.
Includes reports for Employee Safety Committee, Workplace Violence Committees, Environment of Care Committees, and
others as applicable or requested.
1.7. Works closely with Workers' Compensation to cross-walk data streams for financial analysis of Work Related

• 1.11. Works collaboratively with HRIS to design, create and manage BIRST application data for EHS and Wellbeing service line.
• 2. Responsible for data analytics of Employee Wellbeing Programs.
2.1. With the Supervisor, Employee Wellbeing Program, creates/designs, and implements programs to perform data analytics
of YNHHS and External Wellbeing Programs within the Virgin Pulse Platform.
• 2.2. Design and implement utilization reports for both YNHHS programs and corporate wellbeing
• 2.3. Maintain monthly database to track program process and outcome metrics. Metrics include but not limited to:
participation, utilization of additional services, changes in health assessments
2.4. Programs include, but are not limited to, Annual Livingwell (Know Your Numbers) program, EFR data sources, employee
wellbeing challenges, and external client programming data.
2.5. Create, implement and maintain methods for analyzing ROI of employee wellbeing program by leveraging multiple data
2.6. Through partnership with internal stakeholders, create cross-walk and predictive modeling as it relates to benefit design
and wellness programming.
3. Serve as Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing liaison with HRIS to perform data analytics of Human Resources data sources
• 3.1. Ability to produce accurate and timely reporting of employee analytics, including turnover, productivity and engagement.
3.2. Create and maintain reporting for special projects as requested, including ESS and INFOR projects as well as dashboards
with the JDAT team.
3.3. Work collaboratively with leadership from employee relations, compensation + benefits, human resources, and talent
acquisition to provide analysis of all data sources.
4. Responsible for the strategy of data solutions and streamlined processes for the Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing
service line; including joint ventures with other departments with a shared vision for employees safety and wellbeing.
4.1. Research, project plan, and implement new software systems to ensure development of long term strategy of
streamlined data management of employee incidents.
4.2. Maintain data and analytics of employee incident data and integration to other systems within HR and Occupational

Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, public health, healthcare management or equivalent relevant
Minimum two (2) years working experience with databases and software applications that drive the business
operation and outcomes. Experience with Epic, Systoc, iCIMS, INFOR, Lawson or other Human Resources Data
Programs highly preferred.
Proficiency with software analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and other Microsoft
applications required. Understanding and knowledge of financial and clinical terminology preferred. Must have
excellent organizational, analytical and customer service skills.
Accountable for project planning of new software systems. Accountable for timely production of analytical reports .
Must maintain confidentiality of records and information. Ability to work independently and maintain deadlines is
critical to the success of the program.
