Working in partnership with the Digest Health Leadership Team, the Clinical Program Manager manages strategic initiatives, program development and clinical operations for all Yale New Haven Health, Community, and Yale Medicine ambulatory sites.The manager is responsible for integrating systems and resources of the Yale-New Haven Hospital, the Yale Medical Group. Will work closely with all Physician Program Leaders to create high functioning multidisciplinary Digestive Health diagnostic and treatment centers that are patient and family friendly. The manager works to ensure that Digest Health services demonstrates superior outcomes, provides seamless delivery of care, and maintains highly competitive service offerings and cost structure. The manager collaborates with others to achieve the program's strategic objectives and mission: excellent multidisciplinary patient care, teaching, research, and community service.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required and/or a Masters Degree in Nursing. - Masters Degree Preferred - Masters Degree Required as of 1/1/2021. The degree does not have to be in Nursing depending on whether the Bachelors Degree is a BSN. One of the two degrees (Bachelors or Masters) MUST BE IN NURSING.
Three (3) to five (5) years experience including clinical practice experience and two (2) to three (3) years of demonstrated leadership/supervisory/management experience required.
Current Connecticut State RN Nursing licensure required All eligible, nurse leaders must have one of the following nursing leadership certifications by December 31, 2028 and then be maintained. o ANCC Basic (NE) Nurse Executive, or o AONE (CNML) Certified Nurse Manager Leader
Able set forth the vision and mission of Digest Health Services. Demonstrated ability to direct a diverse work force in a busy ambulatory care environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of and proficient in the operation and use of computer-based information systems, to facilitate all aspects of care delivery. Knowledgeable in budgeting and financing of clinical programs (salaried and non-salaried). Knowledgeable of Quality Improvement processes, and capable of implementing concepts. Demonstrated ability to implement and support change required
Twenty four hour a day accountability for all operational aspects. Exposure to biohazards blood and body fluids. Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting required. Must be knowledgeable of hospital and YMG policies and practices. Ability to travel 50% of the time
Masters degree required
Experience 3-5 years clinical practice and 2-3 years of demonstrated leadership
