The Research Assistant II, Registry Data Analytic Center (RDAC), will assist with organizational and research support for the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE), including specific research project tasks such as tracking project status, tracking manuscript publications, tracking Institutional Review Board protocols, tracking data use agreements (DUAs), scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, conducting biomedical literature reviews and environmental scans, assisting with data collection, data management and entry. Incumbent will support research projects of varying magnitude and complexity working closely with RDAC Director, Project Manager, Project Coordinators, Statisticians, and Investigators (both external and internal). Position will assist with development of project procedures, data collection tools, and monitor quality and completeness of deliverables, as well as compose status reports and presentations.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare, public health, human services or related field.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of one-year experience in a research capacity or related experience indicating ability to communicate with people, work in a team environment, work with minimal supervision, work with a variety of computer software programs, and be receptive to a variety of duties to support projects.

SPECIAL SKILLS
Knowledge of research methodology and protocols. Intermediate end user skills in knowledge of computer software applications including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to utilize internet as a research tool. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient in extracting and compiling a range of data from written sources, from individuals by asking questions, or from one or several given databases, along with limited interpretation of data. Summarizes, revises or makes limited use of complex, technical or specialized literature. Must demonstrate excellent organizational ability, attention to detail, and knowledge of research processes. Use of one or several standard reference works (such as endnote). Experience working in a team environment. Familiarity with medical terminology.
