Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager of Drug Use Policy, the Specialist is responsible for oversight of data analytics development for pharmacy automation, patient safety and clinical services in collaboration with pharmacy leaders across the system.

Qualifications
Education
Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S., M.S., or PharmD degree. Completion of a residency in hospital pharmacy from a program by the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists is highly desired but not required.
Experience
Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical practice setting with demonstrated skills in formulary evaluation, drug information, and project management. Experience in leading or participating in medical committees and application of quality improvement techniques is required. Experience in leading or participating in smart pump technology and/or medication safety initiatives is highly desired, but not required.
Licensure
Active Connecticut Pharmacist License
