The Clinical Manager of Surgical Mid-Level Providers will provide clinical and administrative support for Physician Associates and Clinical Nurse Practitioners in the department of assignment. The Clinical Manager will also work clinically to supplement the activities of the other Mid-Level providers as needed. The Clinical Manager will report administratively to the Manager, Surgical Services Mid-Levels and work in close collaboration with administration and leadership for the department(s) of assignment. Administrative responsibilities will be approximately 60% of the position, and Clinical duties 40% of the position.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree and graduation from an approved Physician Associate /Nurse Practitioner program required. Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners/Certified as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Master's degree in relevant field (or matriculation in Master's degree program) preferred.
Minimum of three years of related experience in the specialty area of assignment in a hospital environment . Minimum of 1 year supervisory/administrative experience.
PA or APRN
Work independently with minimal supervision, develop and lead programs, foster a positive work environment. Strong initiative and excellent leadership skills.
Inpatient APP manager will provide administrative oversight to the APPs on inpatient Neuroscience ICU, Neurosurgery, Epilepsy, and Neurology service. Responsibilities will include recruitment and orientation, HR tasks, and ongoing program development.
For this position, we are seeking: 2+ years of leadership or management experience preferred. Clinical specialty experience preferred.
