Performs a wide range of departmental duties including fielding phone calls, scheduling, filing, record keeping, greeting patients. Also including direct and indirect patient care activities, which are essential to providing comprehensive care to patients and their families. Ability to assist technologist with positioning patients of same gender. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Significant use of the Hospital Information System as necessary. Able to provide appropriate care for patients served, regardless of age. Demonstrates outstanding customer service and the key behaviors outlined in the Hospital's Core Success Factors in all interactions.
The medical staff determines the qualifications of the radiology staff that use equipment and procedures.

EDUCATION
High school graduate required; familiarity with computer-data entry system.
EXPERIENCE
Preferred six (6) months exposure in a Radiology reception area. Exposure to MIS or RIS computer system /P.C. and/or terminal experience preferred.
