Join our growing Palliative Care service in Southwestern Connecticut. This position will provide social work services in our brand new oncology focused outpatient clinic. You will join a respected Palliative Care service line as we grow to support our patient and family needs in the ambulatory setting. The new outpatient clinic has full interdisciplinary team support, including physician, RN care coordinator, chaplain, and practice supervisor.

This Part Time (0.6 FTE) LCSW role will include:
Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
Qualifying social work experience for licensure consists of a minimum of 3,000 hours of post-masters social work.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Connecticut, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut license requirements.,
Ability to perform independently and provide clinical practice in a health care setting. Computer experience and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry systems.
MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged.
