Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Gift Shop. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 years college or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years retail experience required, including merchandising, displays, sales. Supervisor/Leadership experience preferred.
HOURS
M-F; 9a-4:30p
SPECIAL SKILLS
Bookkeeping experience and computer skills required including knowledge of Microsoft Office Software with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Point Of Sale (POS) system required. Understanding of both front and back office coordination including financial reports and inventory procedures. Coordinates and overseas the day to day operation of the Gift Shop. Coordinates staffing and supervises shop employees. Orients and trains new volunteers to the shop. Assists with customers, staff and volunteers, works with buyers and auxiliary.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk.The employee must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. The specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
