The Director for the Shoreline Endoscopy Centers is a member of the Digestive Health leadership team and has administrative responsibility and authority for all Endoscopy services across existing and newly developed Endoscopy joint ventures. This includes planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the operations of the Center to create a care signature for all Endoscopy Centers by implementing and executing policies and procedures established by the Endoscopy Center Board of Directors. The Administrator reports to the Surgery Center Board of Directors. The Administrator partners with nursing and medical leadership to ensure policies and procedures are in place to maintain a safe environment dedicated to providing high quality patient care. Responsible for the primary goal of working collaboratively with physicians to efficiently provide endoscopy services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Responsibilities and Expectations
    • 1.1 Creates a care signature across the Joint Venture Endoscopy Centers which includes high quality care to patients, clinical standards and protocols, and operational efficiency.
  • 2. Business Operations
    • 2.1 Deploy, monitor and ensure facility's operational processes and appropriately integrated within the facilitys' quality program
  • 3. Personnel Administration
    • 3.1 Hold at least monthly staff meeting outlining goals and priorities of the facility.
  • 4. Clinical Services
    • 4.1 Promotes that the surgical programs and clinical services are in compliance with the respective components of regulatory body and accrediting body standards. - Work in conjunction with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee in the evaluation and development of existing and new services at the facility.
  • 5. Quality Improvement
    • 5.1 Develop, evaluate and promote implementation of a continuous quality improvement program.
  • 6. Medical Staff Relationships
    • 6.1 Process the credentialing of practitioners of the facility.
  • 7. Administrative Representative
    • 7.1 Attend corporate administrative meetings representing the facility.
  • 8. Personal Development and Professionalism
    • 8.1 Identify areas that require additional reinforcement through education, consultation, or practicum.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

 

Masters degree required, preferably an MBA.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum five years of experience in a top administrative or management position in the health field. Ambulatory Surgery Center/Endoscopy Center experience preferred. 

 

 

SPECIAL SKILLS

 

Experience running an Endoscopy Center or ASC is highly preferred. Advanced and diverse clinical and leadership knowledge and skills are required. Ability to lead employees with clear and accurate direction and guidance that represents YNHH positively and respects diversity Excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem solving, time management, written, oral communication skills are required. Strong skills in physician partnering.
