The main function of the Andrology Outreach support personnel is to represent the hospital to the public in an efficient, caring manner. Daily duties will vary and include reception, registration, data entry, phlebotomy, preparing patient labels, physicians' office communication and problem solving. Other duties include assisting in the andrology and phlebotomy laboratories as requested in addition to cross covering all Greenwich Fertility phlebotomy and andrology laboratories. Clerical duties include photo copying, scanning, filing, etc. Exhibit a caring and courteous manner to all patients and guests is required. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma is required. College or technical school courses are preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Previous phlebotomy experience preferred (2 years). Computer familiarity and keyboard skills are required.

SPECIAL SKILLS
Good computer skills required for data entry, reporting, and statistics reporting utilizing EMR and Excel spreadsheets. Must have knowledge of WORD and Outlook and email. Good written and verbal communication skills. Close concentration and attention to detail are required. The phlebotomy activity requires manual dexterity with an excellent fine motor skills. Working with patients directly, a great deal of emphasis is placed on patient interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Phlebotomy may require extended periods of standing bent over patients. Lifting of medium weight objects. Long periods of typing and data entry. Intense concentration with computers involving data entry.
