The Mobile Breast Imaging Coordinator, working under the direction of the manager of the breast imaging department. In this role, promotes breast imaging services across all YNHH Health systems, including but not limited to, outreach clients, businesses, and corporations across the State of Connecticut. The position is accountable for expanding the current customer base along with developing positive customer relations to our business clients/customers and is responsible to resolve issues in a timely manner. The success of this position is a detailed understanding of YNHHS mission, a desire to serve the community, along with the skills to expand our foot print across the State of Connecticut.
- 1. 1. Seeks out new business partners: ex Corporate Wellness Counselors, Chamber of Commerce, etc. 2. Establish and maintain relationships with past customers, local referring providers and companies. Increase awareness of YNHH Breast Imaging Program 3. Visit corporate and chamber of commerce/customers on a regular basis to maintain and encourage open communication and strengthen relationships with office staff and develop broader base for site visits 4. Assist in development and distribution of marketing and promotional materials and supporting other organizational initiatives that impact customer satisfaction. 5. Respond to referring provider concerns in a timely manner 6. Provide feedback to manager of Breast Imaging to ensure that concerns are followed up and resolved ASAP 7. Responsible for monitoring and improving patient satisfaction using a variety of tools, and exercise independent judgement in resolving client /patient issues, knowing when to refer to manager. 8. Maintain a current database of all contact information regarding sites, organizations, corporations, practices in our visiting area, as directed by the manager a) Verifying parking requirements and logistics for mobile vehicle b) Verify directions to sites and ensure van meets road restrictions 9. Assist in the planning of community events & visits or other activities that will provide an opportunity to promote services a) Verifying parking requirements and logistics for mobile vehicle b) Verify directions to sites and ensure van meets road restrictions 10. Assist with scouting and conducting surveys in market area for new locations for mobile vehicle a) Verifying parking requirements and logistics for mobile vehicle b) Verify directions to sites and ensure van meets road restrictions 11. Maintain a daily log on all visits, comments, or concerns and follow up's as necessary. This daily log will be viewed by manager to establish additional physician office visits that are needed. 12. Monthly statistics regarding patients visited at locations. Review booked schedule for accuracy and minimum patients booked for that site 13. Monitoring and rescheduling cancellations due to weather, environmental, or disaster purposes 14. Distribute current marketing materials to referring practices, companies and organizations.
BS degree in Healthcare or related field and/or Marketing. Certification in one or more health disciplines in Diagnostic Radiology strongly preferred.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the field with either outreach experience or medical background. Knowledge of diagnostic imaging exams preferred.
Must be self motivated, enthusiastic, have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be proficient with MS office and excel. Must be able to work flexible hours in order to accommodate customer's needs. Must use personal car for travel. Must be able to work independently.
Participating in and/or transporting marketing materials to various community and health events, locations, and departments.
