Under the supervision of Health Physicists, assists in the maintenance of the Radiation Safety Office and the radiation safety standards in all areas of the Hospital. Provides administrative support to the health physicists.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Associates degree, preferably in Physics or Biology, or high school diploma with two (2) to four (4) years of related work experience.
EXPERIENCE
Zero (0) to two (2) years of related work experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Regular, skilled use of radiation measurement instruments. Computer experience in using word processing, spreadsheet and database analysis. Typing speed is not critical.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Must be able to lift heavy objects (some over 30 lbs.); must be comfortable in working with radioactive materials and high radiation areas.
Additional Information
Education: preferably, BS in Physics or Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
Related work experience - experience with radiation detection equipment, research or clinical experience with radiation
Minimum Experience: 2 years related work experience. Education: preferably, BS in Physics or Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
