Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, the Program Manager is responsible for coordinating Operations , Business Development, Quality/Value project plans to ensure quality, cost effective and timely projects. Responsible for running complex programs and projects including cross organizational projects or projects which involve multiple interested parties. Also charged with coordinating activities across multiple internal NEMG teams to ensure effective project delivery. Partners with NEMG leadership, including clinical leadership to ensure the design, deployment of key projects that are aligned with the strategic plan. Manages budgets and provides input into future project decisions. Ensures that all NEMG projects follow the standard procedures that are used in the management and deployment of projects. Ensures effective project status reports and follow up to ensure project risks are identified and managed effectively. Manages vendor involvement within their project scope to ensure their direction and advice is appropriately leveraged and resources are applied in an optimal manner. Responsible for ensuring effective processes, guidelines and user engagement throughout all stages of the project.

    • 1.1 Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations including cost, quality and schedules. Using knowledge of organizational development to lead teams toward reaching goals.

    • 2.1 Interacts and interfaces closely with the Senior Leadership, directors and customers.
  • 3. Teamwork
    • 3.1 Works as an effective member of the overall NEMG team facilitating open communication and issue resolution

Qualifications

EDUCATION


Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Health Administration or a related field of study is required . A Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Health or Health Administration is strongly preferred


EXPERIENCE


Demonstrated operational, project and management experience. Significant prior experience with large medical group practice preferred. Minimum of five (5) years or more of medical practice operational and program /project management experience. Minimum of three (3) years work experience in large medical group practice project/program implementations, and management is required.


LICENSURE


ACMPE and or Project Management Certification: Preferred.


SPECIAL SKILLS


Exceptional management skills capable of directing a team and coordinating team activities within a broader project context and with operational leadership and direction. Strong teamwork skills comfortable in both cultivating a team and working with multiple stakeholders. Strong clinical operational knowledge capable of participating and /or leading discussions of change in the clinical space as driven by implementation/execution needs. Strong analytic and time management skills and can deal with multiple complex projects at the same time focusing on key deliverables Knowledge of clinical information systems and management. Strong project management skills. Attention to detail with the ability to delegate task and coordinate activities of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service orientation, comfortable working at all levels of the organization.


PHYSICAL DEMAND


May be required to travel within the operational regions of NEMG
