Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School diploma or Generalized Educational Development certificate (GED) required. Higher education credits or a Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Experience working with infants Birth - 15mos strongly preferred. One (1) to two (2) years experience providing care to young children; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
HOURS
Monday-Friday; 10:45am-5:30pm
PHYSICAL DEMAND
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. They are required to reach with hands and arms. They must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
