Job Description

Initiates employment process per Human Resource Department procedure. Performs recruiting function for entry level, professional, nonprofessional and Allied Health positions. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • 1. Initiates and coordinates recruitment activities.
    • 1.1 Explores and demonstrates thorough knowledge of various recruitment activities as observed by supervisor.
  • 2. Participates in the interview and employment process.
    • 2.1 Demonstrates knowledge of successful interviewing skills and incorporates them during each interview as randomly observed by supervisor.
  • 3. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of advertising and marketing strategies.
    • 3.1 Collaborates with advertising company to develop appropriate advertising campaigns as required and observed by supervisor.
  • 4. Maintains current knowledge of Lawson and Web recruitment applications.
    • 4.1 Enters all required new hire data into Lawson and Web recruitment applications accurately and on a timely basis as observed by supervisor.



BS or equivalent experience.


Minimum of 3 years experience in a high volume recruiting environment. Health care experience preferred.


Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Experience with Microsoft Office suite, HRIS platforms and resume sourcing databases.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms. They are also required to stand and walk. They must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
